C\u00f3digo de Conducta<\/h1><\/div><\/div>\n\n

In order to promote social, ethical, and environmental responsibility, all congress participants must read and accept the Code of Conduct prior to the event.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

This Code establishes clear guidelines for expected behavior during the congress and expressly prohibits<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

  • Any form of discrimination.<\/li>\n
  • Plagiarism in scientific work.<\/li>\n
  • Animal mistreatment.<\/li>\n
  • Environmental harm.<\/li>\n
  • The presentation of research without proper informed consent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    In addition, the Scientific Committee has adopted a Code of Conduct aligned with international standards, which includes specific ethical principles for the virology community:<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

    • Rejection of research involving animals or humans without approved ethical review.<\/li>\n
    • Commitment to environmental care in the handling of infectious agents.<\/li>\n
    • Strict compliance with biosafety regulations for high-risk pathogens.<\/li>\n
    • Transparency in authorship and funding sources.<\/li>\n
    • The Code will be available both on this website and in the event app. Its enforcement will be overseen by a designated committee, and any violations will be addressed confidentially and in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

      Furthermore, the congress includes specific rules:<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

      • Maintain a respectful attitude during Q&A sessions.<\/li>\n
      • Mantener una actitud respetuosa durante las sesiones de preguntas.<\/li>\n
      • Do not photograph slides or posters without the explicit consent of the author.<\/li>\n
