Opening: December 9, 2025
Close: March 6, 2026
General Guidelines for Abstract Submission
The works to be presented must be original and unpublished, and must not have been accepted for publication nor published in national or international scientific journals. Case series with a minimum of three (3) cases will be accepted. Works previously presented at the XLV ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING OF THE ARGENTINE SOCIETY OF VIROLOGY 2025 may also be submitted.
Abstracts must be submitted exclusively through the online platform that will be available starting December 9, 2025. The deadline for submission through the platform is March 6, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
Authors may indicate their preferred presentation format (poster or oral communication); however, the final decision will be made by the organizing committee after reviewing the submissions.
Abstracts must be submitted in Spanish, except for works whose authors are non–Spanish-speaking foreign nationals, in which case abstracts must be submitted in English.
When submitting an abstract, the author must select one “Main Thematic Area” and one “Specific Area” corresponding to the submitted work.
All accepted abstracts will be published in a digital abstract book with an ISBN registration number, which will be made available on the congress website in due course.
The number of works to be presented during the event will be limited. For this reason, authors are encouraged not to divide the results of the same experimental line into multiple submissions. Each individual may submit up to one (1) abstract as first author; however, they may participate as co-author on additional submissions.
Each abstract may include up to eight (8) authorship positions. The person listed as first author will be the corresponding author and will be required to pay the registration fee once the abstract has been accepted.
The Congress will announce its registration grant policy and related regulations in due time.
